Diaper Inserts- Handmade Organic Hemp Cotton Fleece - Newborn and One Size

from $12.00

These organic fleece diaper inserts are designed to pair with Seven Lambs Organics Merino Wool Covers (available here: https://etsy.me/36Kqv5e). However, they work very well in a variety of cover styles (either with or without a fastener).

Handmade with two layers of ethically sourced organic hemp cotton fleece all around and five layers in the wet zone. Sewn with organic cotton thread, which has been comfort stitched in the elastic zone to cause prevent redness or discomfort for baby. Finished with a snap on the back so it will stay in place in our wool cover.

Simply snap the insert into a wool cover, place baby on the diaper, wrap the insert around the baby and snap the cover in place.

Diaper inserts (and wool covers) come in two sizes:
Newborn (NB) they fit from 6-12lbs.
One Size (OS) they fit from 12-35lbs.

Sizing recommendations:
Invest the most in the OS inserts, as the NB size generally fits for a few short weeks. OS on the other hand will generally fit from a few months old until potty training.

Unlike other cloth diapers on the market (micro-fiber, PUL, etc.) these natural fibers never become water repellent or require stripping. It is simply not an issue with these materials.

An in house absorbency test found the OS insert to absorb 19.7 fluid ounces. Methodology found here: https://bit.ly/2IkexGN

How many cloth diapers do I need?
To use the these fleece inserts with the Seven Lambs Organics wool covers (sold here: https://etsy.me/36Kqv5e) on a full-time basis we recommend 1 to 2 wool covers and 12 inserts (Daily washing)
Or
2-3 covers and 24 inserts (every other day washing) as well as one for overnight.
Or use them as a great addition to your existing cloth diaper collection.

Care and Washing:
Diaper inserts are fully machine washable, line drying them tends to be preferable because strong sunshine will naturally bleach away any staining. However they are able to be machine dried as well. Due to their layered construction they do dry quite quickly.

Please allow 3-5 business days for processing.
